SWEET VINTAGE ~

Sweet Vintage was opened in July last year and was born out of my love for using fabric in scrapbooking. I had been making my own embellishments from vintage fabrics and I had received a good response. Then came the doilies...I have always had a soft spot for doilies and began dyeing them bright colours and using them as embellishments. And still today, Sweet Vintage doilies are my best sellers.

After opening I was suprised to learn all the different ways customers were using my embellishments...and many of them were not for scrapbooking! Sweet Vintage embellishments and doilies have been used for hairclips and headbands, jewellery making, applique, handsewn banners, and even fabric wedding bouquets!

I have been lucky enough to have my items featured in scrapbooking kits here in Australia and overseas and am looking forward to what the new year will bring for my little shop. I have just restocked the store with many new items for 2010...lots of new doily colours, silk rosettes, and embroidered buttons...with more coming soon!

WHAT IS OLD IS NEW KITS ~

What Is Old Is New Kits was born in March 2009, we started off really small as we were unsure how the idea was going to be taken but almost a year later we are excited about where this year will take us!

We are only a small kit company that love creating fun and unique kits with all sorts of products ranging from new, old, handmade and vintage products.

Our kits are designed to be just the right size, not too big that you get overwhelmed by all of the products and not too small that you create only one layout and have run out of product.
Have a look around and we hope you like what you see :-)

** If you would like to become a sponsor either monthly or one off sponsorship, we would love to hear from you, please email us at: kraft.it.up@hotmail.com

Final Creative Team Reveal...

KELL LUSTED ~
Hi I’m Kellie, AKA Kell and I am a challenge junkie!!
I have been a scrapbooker for now over 5 years and still love it. I love to scrap my 2 little kiddlets and the things they do, also all things day to day that happens in our lives.
I describe my style as messy but clean iykwim... always use ink and tend to distress all layouts I do, but I can keep things straight and clean if required!
My stable diet is Kraft and white cardstock.... so I am going to enjoy being part of the team for Kraft it up!!

MEL HEATHER ~
Hi :-) My name is Melissa or Mel, I am owner of What Is Old Is New Kits, mum to two gorgeous little girls and wife to a very patient man.
I have been scrapbooking for around 4/5 years and love everything about it.
I love all types of styles and cant really classify one for myself, I love vintage items and also love the newst products out there.
We are going to have heaps of fun with this blog and I hope you can all join in :-)

DEB KUPFER...
I live in Nth Queensland with my DH of 32 years. I am Mum to 2 adult children and Grand-mum to 1 gorgeous little girl.
I started scrapping around 1999/2000. at that time (and probably most of my life) I was and have been right “into” craft of all types.
Attached to one of the many craft magazines that I used to buy was a “freebie” magazine about scrapbooking. Of course, I needed to try this craft as well and although supplies in the local area, at that time, were a little scarce, I managed to find some A4 cardstock and some stickers and I was off and running.
Since starting scrapbooking, the other crafts have taken a backseat and like most of us involved in this wonderful craft, I can’t imagine my life without recording precious memories for my family.
I am looking forward to being part of the Creative Team at Kraft It Up.

Creative Team Reveal #3

KERRYN FRY ~
Hi there! My name is Kerryn and I live in Adelaide with my partner and
best friend, Shane and our super handsome five year old son, Harrison.
I work part time, under protest, in Administration. Mainly to fund my serious addiction to the craft.
I partly blame my Mother for this problem, but unfortunately we are as bad as each other.
I started scrapping in 2004, doing memory albums for our little angel in heaven.
In 2007, I joined my first on-line forum for a contest and began scrapping pages about Harrison, my family and of course myself. I haven't really looked back since.
It is now such a huge part of who I am, scrapbooking helps with so many different aspects of my life and I would not give it up for anything.
I thrive on being challenged when creating my pages, I think it helps to keep my brain active LOL! which is important.
It was such a thrill to be approached by Mel to join the team here at Kraft It Up.
I am really looking forward to this new journey.

MONIQUE FOLLETT ~
"My name is Monique and I live in the gorgeous town of Mackay on the North Qld coast.I am married to Mark, a -mostly- patient and understanding man, and am Mummy to a lovely, soon - to - be 5 little boy, Connor.I love scrapping and preserving the important, as well as the everyday moments in my family's life.
I adore using all the gorgeous new products available, as well as adding any cute little vintage ephemera I can find. I don't think I have a set style, although I've been told I have - LOL.
I love using lots of bright colours on my layouts, although I also love grunging up a layout with a variety of distressing techniques.
I am so excited to be part of the Kraft It Up Creative Team - it is such a new and innovative challenge blog, and I am honoured to be creating with such lovely, talented ladies."

Introducing the First Two Members of our Creative Team

We have decided to create a challenge blog that offers something a bit different.

For all you Kraft lovers out there this blog is for you, Kraft It Up will ask you to complete a challenge each month using Kraft and at least ONE other requirement, you can use whatever else you want but it must be on Kraft and include that month's requirement.

Welcome to the first two members of our Creative Team...

SUSAN LONGMAN

I am a lucky to have 2 beautiful children a son, Ashton and daughter, Eve along with a fabulous man, Rob in my life…and have found this amazing craft that captures their lives so completely…I have been scrapbooking for close on 6 years and have loved every minute of it… I showcase most my work on my blog and am a member of a couple of forums where I like to play…

I love a challenge and am honoured to be on the “Kraft it up” team and am looking forward to creating layouts using this neutral medium.

LINDA EGGLETON ~

Hi, My name is Linda, I am married (for 22 years) with 2 kids, DD who just turned 20, and DS who will be 17 in Feb....I live out in the Central West of NSW. I work part time at a super busy medical centre - which sometimes gets in the way of my scrapping plans.....but it does help pay for my habit (LOL).
DH & I also have our own transport business which keeps him away from home a fair bit during the week, which is when I spend a lot of my time scrapping :)

I have been scrapping for about 6 or 7 years & just like everyone else, my scrapping style has changed immensely over the years....and yes, there's lots of layouts from those early years that I look back on now and just shudder and cringe with embarrassment (LOL). I am loving all the new products that are available now & especially love using "non scrappy" items on my pages whenever I can.

I am chuffed beyond belief that Mel approached me to be a part of the CT for this wonderful new challenge blog, Kraft it Up.....
I am so looking forward to all the upcoming challenges & working alongside such a talented group of ladies!
